General

Always use the extractor hood adapted to the power you need. To create an adequate air flow, we recommend turning it on 5 minutes before cooking.

Do not place food processors, toasters or kettles under tall furniture. The release of steam at high temperatures increases humidity and can cause damage to furniture.

Do not place hot pans directly on the counter, or cut without a board or guard.
Do not use steam cleaners, solvents, glass cleaners, abrasives, scouring pads or blades on furniture.

In case of doubt, carefully read the instructions for use of specialized cleaners and their ingredients (steel, ceramic hobs, ovens…) and before applying them, carry out a test in a small and discreet place.

Furniture professionals know that the most critical points are those close to heat sources such as ovens or dishwashers, the edges near these appliances that are not properly protected can end up contracting or deforming. Do not open the dishwasher for 20 minutes after finishing or leave it half open. The release of steam at high temperatures increases humidity and can cause damage to furniture.

In case of accidental spillage, immediately dry the surface with a dry cloth. Stains of grease, oil, fruit, sauces, etc. they must be removed immediately.

Clean the cooking zone right after cooking to prevent the fat from drying and sticking to the furniture.
To clean the furniture, use neutral, water-soluble detergents with a soft microfiber cloth. Then dry all surfaces well.

Empty the garbage can and change the bags daily to avoid odors and accidental spills.

Use a brush to remove debris from the sump and the edges of the sink. Then use degreaser to clean the joints and the edge of the sink.

Wooden furniture

Cleaning using a mixture of olive oil and wine vinegar in the same proportion with a cotton cloth. Distribute evenly and let dry for at least one hour. Another possible mixture is to use half a liter of vegetable oil with lemon oil.

To treat the small cracks or scratches that appear in the wood, it is possible to apply Vaseline and leave it to act for about 30 minutes and remove the remains.

To remove marks from recent glasses and cups, we can rub the surface with a cork.
Lacquered furniture

We recommend regular cleaning with water and natural soap to prevent dirt from becoming embedded in the furniture. Use a fine microfiber cloth. Rinse with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products, such as detergents, as they can damage the finish of the furniture.
